Working Towards the Positive

One of the most important life-lessons that I have learned through the Transformational Organization process,  is to “Work Towards The Positive.” Prior to implementing the Transformational Organization strategies, I always felt overwhelmed and exhausted.  I kept wondering why I couldn’t seem to make more progress towards a more positive and productive outcome. After working through this process, I realized that my lack of taking charge of all the chaos drained my mental and physical energy. I began taking control through the small manageable tasks outlined in the monthly calendars. At the end of each day I felt that I had accomplished something positive. I also felt I had more control over my daily life. This inspired a new outlook and more energy. From this I learned that when I made positive advances in my objectives, I had more energy and enthusiasm to continue with taking control and ultimately living my authentic life. I have realized that the more I strive for the positive outcomes, the more opportunities  seem to appear and come to fruition. Although my house and life don’t always stay in perfect order (nor would I want them to), I can easily manage to get the chaos under control and quickly get my life “back to square.”

Then one day, I dreamed the impossible dream. I wanted to take complete control of our finances, something that I have struggled with for many years. I was never a huge spender and always considered myself thrifty. However, there never seemed to be enough money for the things I really wanted to do. I decided that the “money problems” were not about money but about the management of money instead. I started on a new facet of Transformational Organization which was to learn to become a better steward of my financial resources. I began by keeping a log of every cent, (yes, I mean cent) that I spent. Then the data generated from this log helped me to realized the management issues. After several months of learning how I spent my money, I began to realize that I needed a more firm structure in my money management framework.  I became a careful spender and a happy saver. I am still working through the learning, but I can say that taking charge of my own outcomes and working towards the positive seems to be profitable at this point. As stated earlier, more financial opportunities just seem to materialize when I am focused and striving for the positive. Money seems to appear out of nowhere at times and money that I have saved continually seems to multiply. I am quite amazed at the whole process and am even more encouraged to keep at it now that the positive has a greater influence on my life. Keep working through the Transformational Organization process and keep working towards the positive. This feels good.
