Welcome to the Transformational Organization Blog! The postings on this blog are my way of sharing what has worked for me for the past 15 years. I was raised to feel comfortable around lots of clutter. My parents are collectors (hoarders of quality stuff) and I have always been comfortable with lots of things (clutter) decorating my life. This presents two issues for me. First, I love to be organized and efficient. Quite challenging to do when you have lots of stuff and a schedule like mine. I have two children, Aaron and Kyle. Aaron is engaged to Cari, my lovely daughter-in-law-to-be. Aaron and Cari have my adorable grandson, Declan. They all live with me and my wonderful, amazing husband of 20 years, Mark. Kyle is our youngest. He attends Radford University. However, during the summer, holidays and some week ends, we all live under the same roof. Sound complicated yet? Hold on though, that’s just part of the story. Mark works full time with a hour commute each day. I work full time and run three small businesses. On top of all that, I also decided to pursue my Ph.D. while working full time and being a mother, wife, business owner and animal fanatic. Ooops! I almost forgot to mention the three bullmastiffs, two cats, hedgehogs and a snake. I am also a state certified wildlife rehabilitator with some sort of critter needing help (squirrels, o’possums, and ducks). Somehow I have managed all this while still having time to enjoy my hobbies, interests and time with my family. This blog describes the process/system that I designed in order to keep all this happy chaos organized. Please follow this step by step process to that you can create peace, harmony, fulfillment and tranquility in an orderly, and organized, healthy living space. Each segment of this blog is a step in an organizational journey and includes health and beauty routines to transform your life and living. Join me on this journey as I walk you step by step through taking control and enjoying every day no matter how complex and unmanageable your life seems. If it can work for me, it will work for you. Just a few minutes every day and you will look and feel better while taking control of every aspect of you life. Physical health, financial health, improved relationships and a better quality of life all await. Start at the beginning and follow along each day and you will transform your life.
I strongly feel that a form of depression results from overwhelming chaos. I have experienced the hopelessness of being overwhelmed with clutter, to many tasks to perform and no time to address cleaning, cooking and too much to do. This process will help you to overcome clutter, establish homecaring routines that are manageable, develop efficient strategies for saving money, spending less and making the most of what you have to enhance your life. The Transformational Organization process will encourage you to take better care of yourself and entice you to a more healthy lifestyle while simultaneously taking control of the feeling of being overwhelmed. Not only will you increase your personal health, your mental health will benefit in magnificent ways. Please engage in this journey to reclaim your life, your happiness, and your health!!
